Contest: Win DM's Tracker for the iPhone

Well lets hope this contest will be more successful than my last attempt. Its no secret that i like technology and the tool IniTracker. I feel any tool that can help a DM or player to run their games more efficiently is a goal i've been searching for since i got into D&D so many years ago. I have a code to get a free copy of DM's Tracker for the iPhone or iPod Touch, and I'm just giving it away.

The program is a similar tool to IniTracker but for the iPhone, its a great way to build groups of monsters as encounters, track turns and conditions and is a mobile DM side kick. Batman has robin, Green Hornet has Kato, Fred Flintstone has Barny and the list goes on; Now DM's can have a side kick for your games.

Since Rogers Wireless here in Canada hates me with a passion only matched by my hate for it, i won't be getting an iPod anytime soon so this is why I'm just giving The contest is simple, tell me our biggest DM tip, that one single thing that you do that either saves you time or makes your games unique. Add it to the comments and Monday I'll post a random winner.

I seriously hope i don't sound like TV Rag salesmen here, but you can check out how the program operates by viewing the help file online here.

Requires iPhone or iPod Touch (OS 3.0)

Until next time, keep the dice on the table.

  3. I have stage fright. Gaming in public is scary. I use that fear to gin up energy and then use that to act up a bit. I'll stand throughout the session and antic up a bit when I'm playing an NPC.

That uses that nervous energy up and I think my players have more fun. In a weird way it also turns GMing into a minor workout.

  4. Ok how about this odd tip to get your PC's attension fast:
My group is on the large side, some with their own itelligent companions of one kind or another not to mention the NPC's so it sometimes gets difficult in the thick of it to tell if I'm talking as the DM or one of said critters. I've solved that by using my daughter's hand puppets or stuffed animals. Nothing get syour attension more than talking through a dragon hand puppet I tell you!
