To Bodly Go

There are a lot of posts out there about the new star trek movie, i just intend to share my thoughts. Earlier this week i won tickets from a local radio station 102.1 the edge to see star trek on Wednesday. yup two days before everyone else.

it was a blast, the acting was great and the characters are how you pictured them to truly be. My favorite is probably bones and they explain how he gets his nickname.

Music rocked, i did not expect to hear beastie boys, but it worked. The fight scene music reminded me of old trek but it was solid

Fact of the matter is the movie moves you twice in the first 10 minutes, and 5 minutes in you know your hooked. I went with a friend, i went expecting it to be a good fun movie, he went expecting it to be the most amazing thing of all time. We both left satisfied.

I wanted to be careful and not list any spoilers, but the acting was great from everyone, the previews were for G.I. JOE and that looks pretty sweet, and transformers 2 (meh)

Go out this weekend, and see this movie, take the kids (8-10 +) kids need to be introduced to star trek.
