TMNT 25 years and going strong

Late last week i learned it was the 25th anniversary of the teenage mutant ninja turtles, so i planned a pizza party with my neighbor and our kids. During the day i took my daughter to the local gaming store for free comic book day. She began wandering the store looking at the 'cool stuff' she stumbled upon a todd mcfarland dragon 'tickle dragon daddy'.

To clarify my daughter is two, we went back home and had a comic book reading session in her room and had a blast. so naturally i couldn't wait for the TMNT movie night, during her nap i went all around town to try and find the original movie. Sadly not a single store had one, so instead i picked up the TMNT movie that came out in 07 figuring it would be just as fun considering my neighbor and i have not seen it.

Dinner time came around we all sat around started watching the movie and eating pizza, about 15 minutes in it was clear the kids (who were done eating pizza) just wanted to go back outside and play. oh well, perhaps we'll be good for the 30th anniversary.

After the kids went to bed, i went back over to the neighbors and we finished watching the movie. it was fun, seemed like it would have picked up right where the last movie finished off.

Over all everyone had fun, so that's all that matters
